I am usually a fan of black and white artwork as I feel that a lot of the inkers/ colorists especially in the 70s and 80s totally screwed up the effect of the artwork with inferior colouring/ inking allied with poor printing ( especially in Marvel/ DC / Indrajal and especially Charlton). While reading black and white reprints of comics from this era ( in the Marvel Essentials and DC Showcase series and the Australian Frew comics for example) you can really appreciate the art and enjoy the stories s much more. <br><br>In the case of Bone though, I have to say that the coloured version has enhanced the original artwork.
