Dude, don't wait to see them on shops, they are getting sold out like
cakes on Online sites, they offer better discounts too :) Last time I
checked it was more than 35%, which is a killing ;)

Hojo Dude, the reason for the poor distribution is partly due to the low
numbers in which the Cinebook editions are shipped out to India (due to
the low or zero profit margin deal), and mainly due to the old
bureaucratic agency which is dealing with the distribution in India.

I
had been pointing this pitfall to Cinebook honchos, but it seems it
would take eons before they get the necessary shelf exposure at
bookstores, which are predominantly dominated by high volume publishers
like Euro Books, and Egmont.

The only other way is to go for the
new age distribution through Online stores like Flipkart, Indiaplaza,
Infibeam, etc. They stock their items pretty well, and I hear that they
are mostly sold out in short time.

These classics deserves a better treatment for sure :( :)

இன்சைடர்ஸ் தொடர் தமிழில் வெளிவராததில் எந்த இழப்பும் இல்லை
என்பதை, அந்த கதையை படிக்க தொடங்கியபின்பு தெரிந்து கொண்டேன். ஆக்ஷன்
திரைப்படம் போல சண்டை காட்சிகளுக்கு முக்கியத்துவம் மட்டுமே கதைகளில்
அலாதி, மற்றபடி கதை ஜீரோ தான். ஐஸ்பெர்க் கதை தெரியும்,ஆனால் லயன் அதை
எதனால் தள்ளி போட்டது என்று அறியாவிட்டாலும், தமிழில் அதற்கு வரவேற்பு
இருந்திருக்குமா என்பது சந்தேகமே.

ஒரு வேளை வரும் ஆல்பங்களில் நிலமை மாறுமா என்று தெரியவில்லை... பொருத்திருந்து பார்க்க வேண்டியதுதான்.

Wish you and your loving family, a Happy New Year 2011, too.

I
know the difficulty which goes along in collecting these rarely seen
titles on Indian book shelves. Much criticism should go to the
bureaucratic way in which Cinebook's, mainland distributor in India goes
about their tasks. It's not properly stacked, not maintained in good
numbers, causing many a fans to miss out on these wonderful genre.

The
aim of me covering them in the blog post, is to avoid the same trouble I
took in collecting this list on my own, and to ensure that any other
Comiker doesn't face the same on their quest.

I had previously
tried listing the list in Excel based format, but it didn't look good to
decorate a post altogether. So have switched on to this style. But rest
assured, I will post a Tab separated file, if not an Excel, along with
the Second part to this post.

Talking about Indiaplaza, everyone
knows that they suck when it comes to books categorization and delivery
commitments. But it's the only resort available at present, as that's
the only one with a handsome discount. So if you are an early-bird then
you can score a sizable money, if not you always have the other sites
like infibeam.com / flipkart.com, to depend upon :)

கிடைக்கபடும் சினிபுக் வெளியீடுகளை தவற விட நான் தயாராக இருப்பேனா. என்ன
அவர்களின் வெளியீடுகள் பரவலாக இங்கு அனைத்து இடங்களுக்கும் சென்று சேர
முடியாத படி, ஒரு ஆமை வேக விற்பனை முகவரிடம் மாட்டி கொண்டு தத்தளிக்கிறது.
விடிவு காலம் விரைவில் பிறக்கலாம்.

சிம்பன்ஸி காம்ப்ளக்ஸின் இறுதி
அத்தியாத்தத்தை படிக்க நானும் ஆவலுடன் காத்திருக்கிறேன். சமீபத்தில் படித்த
Sci-Fi கதைகளில் மனதை வருடிய ஒரு தொடர் இதுவாக தான் இருக்கும். படித்து
விட்டு ஒரு பதிவாக இட முயல்கிறேன். உங்கள் தளத்தில் நீங்களும் அதை பற்றி
ஒரு பதிவொன்று போட அன்பு கட்டளையும் அடங்கும்.

அடுத்த பதிவை விரைவில் இட எண்ணம் தான், நேரம் கைகூடும் என எதிர்பார்க்கலாம் :)

சினிபுக் வெளியீடுகள் குறித்த கதம்ப பதிவு சிறப்பாக இருக்கிறது. சிம்பன்ஸி காம்ப்ளெக்ஸ் எனக்கு மிகவும் பிடித்திருந்தது. இறுதி ஆல்பத்தின் இறுதிப்பக்கம் கலங்கடித்து விட்டது. அருமையான சித்திரங்கள். மனிதர்களின் முகங்களை சித்திரங்களோடு கலந்து மிகவும் சிறப்பாக இருந்தது. பீட்டில்ஜுஸை விட இதுதான் கமருன் படம் பார்த்த உணர்வை வழங்கியது. எதிர்வரும் பதிவுகளிற்காக காத்திருக்கும் அம்பில்லா மன்மதன் :)

Great stuffs!!I wonder why C-B doesn't spread their goodies allover India with more professional approach.Otherwise,they should get the credit for relying on Classic/Original stuffs than the latest series! :)
