Good to see, you have anyways made your presence felt. Thanks for pointing out the mistake, the names were sounding too guyish, so I resorted to presume them as brothers. I have now corrected it in the post.

I agree Bruce Lee was featured in Comics. But he was genuinely portrayed only with whatever skills he had in the Comics. So, I consider them as top-rate. Will definitely mention about in the second celebrity comics post.

By the way, why don't you share your expert comments on other blog posts here at Comicology too, whenever you vist again. Would be eager to read them.

Anony: You made me interested to look for Supremo Comics. But, overall it was a mix of all things which are needed to build a comic hero on a similar kind. Only the identity of Amitabh Bachan, didn't make anyone see him as a Secret Hero. :)

I would soon be blogging about Raj Comics Heroes line-up, as and when I collect enough data on the same. They are a worthy thing to discuss, for sure.

thnx for the info, i've 5-6 Supremo comics along with other comics, it has got not only Superman like double-identity stuff, but also Phantom like concept, eg- Supremo has an island (somewhere) just like Phantom's Isle of Eden (where carnivores and herbivores live together).
by the way, waiting for more info on other Indian comics (like Nagraj, super commando dhruv, etc.)

ஷங்கர் அன்பரே, முத்தான முதன்மை கருத்துக்கு மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை நன்றி. பிரபலங்கள் பற்றிய என் கருத்துடன் காமிக்ஸ் காதலரான உங்கள் கருத்து ஒத்து போவதில் எனக்கு பெருமையே, நம் ரசனை ஒன்று படுகிறதே என்பதால்.

எம்ஜிஆர், லதா பெயரை இலங்கையில் சிறு கதாசிரியர்கள் உபயகோபடுதாமல் இருந்ததில் ஆச்சர்யம் இல்லையே.... அப்படி அவர்கள் பயன் படுத்தி இருந்தால், உண்மை நபர்கள் தரப்பில் இருந்து அவர்களுக்கு பிரச்சனைகள் தோன்றாமல் இருந்து இருக்காது.... தன்னுடைய அனுமதி இல்லாமல் தன் பெயரை உபயோகிப்பதை எந்த பிரபலமும் (?!) விரும்புவது இல்லையே.

அமிதாப்பில் ஆரம்பித்து அபிஷேக்கில் முடித்தது தற்செயலாக நடந்த விசயமே, ஆனால் தங்கள் கழுகு கண்களுக்கு அது தட்டு பட்டு விட்டது.

அழகான பெண்மணிகள் விரைவில் அவர்களின் அணிவகுப்பை நடத்துவார்கள். :)

Siv: That's news for me. I have updated that in the post on Shaktimaan section. By the way, as you might be knowing, Bruce Lee Comics was not made in India, even though it was translated in Tamil by Rani Comics. That's why I didn't include that in this post, as we were speaking only on comics based on Indian based Celebrities. But, I will remember to add it as a Tail Piece, in the next Celebrity Comics Part - II. thanks for your visit and comment.

Toonfactory: It was good to meet you too in Chennai friend. Thanks for spending your time on your way back. By the way, I have updated your tip-off on the post. But couldn't get any scans to support Kapil's full length comics books for Action ad. Any chances you hold the same. On Sachin, Amul is known to have included a lot of celebrities in their unique Ads, so it has to deserve a special post on its own. Isn't it ?? :)

Liju: Welcome back my friend from God's own Country. Good that you do have Amitabh comics in your collection, me not that fortunate enough :). With my blog post, I hope it will only become more rarity to find in local stores. That's the disadvantage of blogging about something you cherish collecting, which actually makes it hard to collect, as the awareness about the same would have already been spread. :)

I agree with your viewpoint on Sachin. I too have the same complaints over him, as the match winning innings he played are very less, compared to other legends. But all said and done, he is still a legend in sports, so let's enjoy whatever cricket is left of him in his final passages of career.

The girls are waiting to be unleased in our next celebrity comics post.

celebrity based comics, actually havent seen any but i think i hav amithabh bachan base comics somwer in my stash , i think,i found it in a binded collection of books at a road side vendor..cant wait to read next post specailly about jenna jamson in her comic lol. virgin comics wer supposed to relase a comics based on sachn tendulkar, i think its jus crass, inspite of all his records he has never been a hero for me. jus a lot of personal records in around 20 yrs of international cricket, i cant think of 5 match wiining innings frm hopeless postions which would classify him as a true crikecting hero

பிரபலங்களின் புகழையும், விசிறிகளின் வட்டத்தினையும் நம்பி வெளிவரக்கூடிய காமிக்ஸ்கள்
பொதுவாக நீண்டகாலம் நிலைப்பதில்லை என்பது சில சமயங்களில் மிக ஆறுதல் தரும் விடயமாகும்.

இலங்கையில், நான் சிறுவனாக இருந்தபோது ஒர் காமிக்ஸ் வாரமலர் வெளிவந்தது-முத்து வார மலர் போல்- உள்ளூர் ஒவியர்கள், கதாசிரியர்கள் கைவண்ணத்தில் அதில் பல தொடர்கள் வெளியாகின.
அதில் ஒர் தொடரின் பெயர் ராஜு. உண்மையிலேயே ராஜு எம்ஜிஆர் தான், சித்திரங்களைப் பார்த்தவுடனேயே சிறு பிள்ளை கூட அதனைக்கூறி விடும். ஆனால் கதாசிரியர்கள் எம்ஜிஆர் எனும் பெயரை உபயோகப்படுத்தவில்லை. என்ன காரணமாகவிருக்கும் என்று இதனை எழுதும் போதுதான் சிந்திக்கிறேன். ராஜுவின் ஜோடியாக லதாவும் இருந்தார். வழமை போன்று ஓர் எம்ஜிஆர் பாணிக்கதையாகவே அது இருந்தது.

அமிதாப்பில் ஆரம்பித்து அபிஷேக்கில் முடித்தது ரசிக்க வைக்கிறது. மேலும் இப்படி அழகான பெண்மணிகள் அடுத்த பதிவில் வருகிறார்கள் என்றால் அடுத்த பதிவிற்காக காத்திருப்பது என்ன தவமிருக்கவே தயார் தான்.

நான் அண்மையில் படித்த ஒர் லக்கிலூக் சாகசத்தில் ஓர் செவ்விந்தியத் தலைவரை பிரான்சின் முன்னை நாள் ஜனாதிபதி ஜாக் சிராக் சாயலினை அச்செடுத்து வரைந்திருக்கிறார்கள்.
